no, i haven't. To tell you the truth, i am not too interested in shotguns. I have four of them (well, one is my wife's) and they are enough, so i am not paying attention to what's being offered today on the market. I have an old remington 870 wingmaster 12/76, but not suitable for iron or tungsten shot; a remington 11-87 that i have been shooting since 1987 and is my go-to gun; another 11-87 20/76 (my wife's); and a cz o/u 20/76, that i bought two years ago bu am not too fond of. I bought another 11-87 12/76 for my daughter about 10 years ago. It's in phoenix, az, where she lives today.
As i said, don't worry too much about the color or shine of your gun. If your blind (capanno) or "hide," as the limeys calla a blind, is well built and situated, the gun would not scare the birds away even if it were chromed, as long as you keep it (and yourself) well hidden up to the moment of truth.
